Pre-med students to India

Imagine the world that we have grown up in: Our childhood memories, our amazing high-standard education, our immaculate health care facilities. For some children like Anita this is not the life that she witnesses. In the year 2013 there is still high regional inequality depriving innocent children of basic health care. The money that is raised from your generous donations are to allow me and a team of A-level students with medical aspirations to travel to India and volunteer in one of the most deprived and short-staffed hospitals in Madurai. The journey will allow us to witness the process of surgury in India where technology is under-developed and will allow us to interact with the patients and form bonds. Please help us help others by donating to this valuable cause as the trip will allow us to encounter children with life-threatening diseases to help children with wounds and injuries and provide support to children with mental illnesses. It would provide long-term support to the children as well as a friend through all their struggles. The trip will also teach us valuable skills like how to stitch and mend to wounds and provide us with first aid training. The experience will be truly inspiring and life-changing for the hospitalised children and for us. I will be truly grateful for your donations to make this vision a reality. Thank you!
