Prairie Dog and Bird Rescue/Rehabilitation

I have taken in and rehabilitated and released many wild baby birds over the years. Ive hand raised sparrows, mourning doves, white-winged doves, and curve bill thrashers! All successes, no losses! My Mom says I have a special touch, that most people cant keep baby birds alive, much less raise and release them. I have also taken in unwanted prairie dogs that were formerly pets and we give them a permanent home with our family. There are costs of keeping exotics, such as food, enclosures and medical care. Both my husband and I work outside the home and it gets increasingly difficult to make ends meet. Donations will go to keep the rescue alive and functioning. Also, we want to make an outside play area for our growing prairie dog family. The 'dogs' are taken outside when weather is good and they eat grass, play, and dig in their burrow....pretty cool!
