Last year during the previous lockdowns caused by Covid19 in Philippines, Me, my family and a couple of friends created a donation drive to raise funds to support families and medical front liners that were badly affected by covid situation in Philippines. With those funds, we were able to provide sets of PPE's to 10 various hospitals - good for 3 months and rice and other food supplies for affected families for two weeks. Now certain areas in Philippines are again in ECQ(Enhanced Community Quarantine). With daily covid positive cases reaching almost 10k.Today, I just knew that there will be a stimulus to be provided by the government but for sure it wont be enough. I came from Bulacan, which is one of the cities that's on lockdown.
My sister who is a front liner is already crying as they faced 2 deaths per day only in their hospital with countless cases of positive patients. I feel that I need to do something to help.So again, I am raising funds to support them.

The goal is to raise SGD7,000 (USD5,200)

$5,700 will be used to buy 100 cavans of rice to feed 1000 families for a week in Bulacan. (This families are the ones who are forced to stop working because of the lockdown, families that are in “No Work, No Pay” scheme.)

$1,300 will be used to buy vitamins for the medical front liners in government hospitals good for 2 months. We will be able to give to around 2,500 frontliners.

Local parish, my family and friends will handle the logistics and distribution for this.

PS. What gift are you most comfortable giving? Pooled together, below are some examples of what our donations can do for them:

  • SGD6 can help families receive 5 kilos of rice, this will help them for at least a week.
  • SGD1 can help buy at least 4 bottles of Vitamin C + Zinc (each bottle is 30 capsules)

I can't do this alone and I need a lot of people to help me, help them.

From the bottom of my heart, Thank you.
