Powerful PC Needed For Computer Science Major

Hello everyone.

As some of you may or may not already know, I am a computer science major attending New Mexico State University.

I am looking for financial assistance to help me hand build a new, more powerful computer that will be much more capable of letting me toy around with various hobbies and projects.

Right now my machine's specs are laughably outdated:

Current Rig

• CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo
• Memory: 4GB DDR2
• Video: Radeon HD5770

Desired

• CPU: Intel i7
• Memory: 12GB DDR3
• Video: Radeon HD7750+
• HDD: SSD for OS

These specifications will allow me to easily play and experiement with virtual machines, server administration, remote administration and other such activities. View my pictures to see the world of difference you will be contributing to!
