POVERTY ERADICATION IN CHEMELIL -KISUMU COUNTY, KENYA.

Since the main source of livelihood in Chemelil, Kisumu County-Kenya is Chemelil Sugar Factory, majority of the residents from this region are sugarcane farmers and casual workers in the company. Currently, the sugar industry is facing problems that has led to the closure of its operation and hence thousands of people left unemployed and frustrated. The workers have not been paid for the past three months and hence low living standards. The government of Kenya is slow in action and that is the reason why we are seeking for donations to help improve the living standards of the people and to edu on other activities that can help the community earn a living.
