Petrinja earthquake: A family with two small children was left with nothing. They need our help!

The Dragić family lost all their property in the terrible earthquake that hit Petrinja on December 29. Six members of that family, two of which are small children aged 3 and 6, are currently housed in a container in their backyard because they are not even allowed to approach the house. Subsequent earthquakes that occur on a daily basis threaten to collapse the house completely.

There is only room for 6 mattresses in the container they received. They sleep like that, on the floor, next to each other, and in the shed they have made a handy kitchen. In the backyard, under a tent, with a few donated toys, the children spend their days. They don't even dare think about how long it will last.

The life of this family, as well as many others from that area, is very modest. They are proud, cheerful and extremely hardworking people, but this disaster was too much for them. They are left with nothing.

Without our help they cannot start any work nor do they have any hope that the children will have a roof over their heads again!
