POSTCARDS fundraising!

I love sending postcards to my friends and family whenever I travel. Therefore, for my upcoming volunteering project at Nepal, I am creating a postcards fundraising event, and get my friends and family to donate money and get a postcard from the kids at the Academy in Nepal in return.

Heaven Hill Academy is a community school in the heart of Gaunshahar (in the middle of the mountains). The school started in 2014 and now has 80 kids aged 3-10, from Pre-school, Kindergarten, Grade 1 up to Grade 3. They are now building a school for Grade 4 so that the kids can continue to go to school there.

When I volunteer at Heaven Hill Academy, I will run creative arts workshops and possibly some drama workshops. I came up with this idea of combining my love of art and travel together to help the kids. With the principal's approval, I am now officially launching the event!

The postcard design is going to be a workshop, if you so kindly donate 50HKD or more, you will receive a unique postcard drawn by one of the kids at the Academy! All profits will go towards helping the school to build new classrooms for the little ones.

After donating, please PM me your address. I will make a list before I take off and you should be able to receive your postcard sometime in October! Since I am leaving on 7 September (the deadline!), there's only a week left so don't hesitate!
