Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Awareness Tour

Through the use of a daily blog where you can read up on my latest adventures, as well as follow me-virtually-I will bring awareness of the overwhelming number of returned veterans suffering from PTSD. This dehabilitating condition strikes down nearly 60% of Iraq/Afghanistan combat veterans, ruining their-and their families-lives. Attention must be brought to bear on this issue, before these veterans are forgotten.

I myself am a veteran suffering from PTSD, and I know firsthand the effects that this crippling condition has on everyone involved. I have been met with apathy to outright disdain as I have sought treatment. I am not alone in this treatment, veterans around the country complain of the same. This can not be tolerated, and must stop. The only way to cure ignorance is through education. People cannot seek knowledge in a subject if they are not aware of it. 

Money raised from this site will purchase fuel, spare parts, food, and other necessary gear on my travels, and anything inexcess of that will be donated to worthy charities dedicated to serving veterans. Thank you for any help you can provide!
