Post Graduate Studies

Hello,

My name is An, I am from Greece and I am 25years old. I have studied Hospitality Management and I have been working for five years in the hospitality industry. After having finished my studies and gained a significant work experience I wanted to continue with my Post Graduate studies at a Swiss University, because only certain Swiss Universities offer high-level of hospitality management studies at a cost similar to the cost of other Universities around the world. Unfortunately the combination of some difficulties has made this dream almost impossible.

First of all, my mother had an accident when I was 16 and she is almost blind. This would have been avoided if it wasn't for a doctor's mistake but she was not lucky enough and so she entered a cyclone of continuous surgeries. In a few days she is going to take a corneal transplantation which is the last thing that doctors believe could make her see again. But once again luck is not with her side. Ever since crisis knocked the door of my country the government does not offer financial aid for this kind of health problems. It is a high-risk surgery and they probably thing that it's not worth to pay for it...On the other hand, she has been in the dark for the last 9 years and since this is the first time that doctors give her hope to see the light again, her last savings are going to be used for this surgery.

Secondly, my 65-years old father whose work would always give him a stable income sufficient to cover the family expenses, is now facing a crucial problem because of the crisis. In fact, he stills works but he never gets paid!

For all the above reasons my dream for a Post Graduate program may not be realized unless I find a way to collect the amount needed. I have already completed my applications for the Masters I would like to attend and I believe that I will be accepted because of my exceptional university grades, language skills, work experience and sports activity (I have many rewards and medals in track and  field national championships).

I would be grateful if each of you and all together could help me make my dream true because the above mentioned Masters would help me gain theoritical knowledge and additional skills in order to achieve my personal and professional goals.
