Recently, large parts of Berkovitsa, a beautiful town in Bulgaria, were destroyed due to unforseeable amounts of rain, resulting in subsequent floods caused by the overflow of the town's river. At times, water levels reached 50 litres per square meter...
Around a hundred homes have been destroyed and people have been left homeless or with the sad remains of what used to resemble a home. Sadly, most homes are also uninsured and people are vastly relying on the generosity of friends and strangers.
Please donate, whatever amount you can, to help with the restoration process of this beautiful little place!
