Campaign Story
Hi!
I’m Julian, 32 years old, from Metro Manila Philippines. I have twin 3 year old daughters, and I’m a cyclist.
Last month, March 6,2019, I had a horrible accident that resulted in multiple fractures. Broken right wrist, misaligned left elbow, dislocated hip, a few cracks on my skull (facial part), a few stitches on my face, and 2 broken front teeth.
It happened during a cycling tune up race, when suddenly, I slammed into a truck and broke the weindshield, and dented the front grill. I honestly didn’t know how it happened. Most likely, I have blacked out while pedaling, due the ongoing extreme heat in our country. I didn’t feel a thing when I slammed into the truck. All I can remember is, I was unconcious for 30 minutes (according to the witnesses, and the people who helped me).
I consider this as a big big turning point in my life. I have two daughters to raise, and a hospital bill that cost a fortune. I don’t have money anymore, and I still owe 60,000 Pesos, because my health benefits didn’t cover that much. I am under financial trouble right now. I need to support my kids, need money for my therapy, but I only have 42 Pesos in my bank. I am currently on medical unpaid leave for my healing, that’s why I don’t have money at all. I really hope you can help. This is pretty much a straight forward explanation, because I am desperate, and this problem has been haunting me for days. Thank you so much in advance! Wishing you all an awesome day ahead!!
