Polska Explorer Belt

We are a team of 5 Explorer Scouts from Kent and we are planning to undertake our Explorer belt Challenge in the summer of 2015. The Explorer Belt is one of the highest awards in scouting and to be successful we have to travel to another country, on our own and complete a number of challenges. We believe this trip will give us a better understanding of Polish culture; it will be an interesting and educational experience. A significant part of our visit will be a visit to the Auschwitz concentration camp as we find out more about the role of Poland in both world wars. Our first challenge is, on our own, to plan our trip and raise the money we need to for this amazing adventure. We hope that you will be able to support us.
