Polio Eradication

Hello,

First of all I want to thank you for taking time to view my fundraiser! 

I have created this fundraiser because I would like to completely eradicate polio from Earth. There are ONLY 3 countries (Afghanistan, Nigeria, & Pakistan) left throughout the world that are still fighting this horrendous virus. This is the time for everyone to join hands and get rid of this forever!

 

What is Polio?

1.  Polio is a PREVENTABLE but deadly disease.

2. Polio can cause lifelong paralysis in different areas of the body.

 

Why Should I Care?

 

1.  Polio is contagious. 

2. It has been known to be spread through:

     -Direct human-to-human contact

     -Contact with infected person via mucus & phlegm

     -Contact with infected person via feces

3. "While the United States has been Polio-free for more than 30 years. It will only take one traveler with Polio to bring it to the United States." -CDC

 

What Can I Do?

1. Pray

     -We must never underestimate the power of good thoughts, wishful prayers, and good intentions.                   May god guide us all and  provide the light through our journey.

 

2. Donate

     -Financial assistance is needed for various things such as:

                    -Vaccine Distribution

                    -Transportation of Supplies to Remote Locations

                    -Daily Care and Supervision for Current Polio Victims

 

3. Spread The Word

     -I ask you all to please share this link with JUST 1 OTHER PERSON!

 

 

Thank you all so much! I would like to eradicate polio and take care of current polio victims as well. I need your help and this is not possible without you. I set the goal for the fundraiser at $100.00 but every penny helps and I did not want to have a set number but $100.00 is the lowest that it would allow.
