The PNET Cancer Foundation are seeking your generosity to help us cover costs for our upcoming charity concert on the 2nd of August, 2015. We have been working tirelessly over the past 8 months to prepare over 65 students to perform a variety of musical acts, with a goal of generating up to $14,000 in ticket sales alone. 100% of ticket proceeds will be donated to the PNET Cancer Foundation for much needed research into brain cancer.
The PNET Cancer Foundation is a not for profit organisation that is focused on increasing research into pediatric brain and spinal tumors called Primitive Neuroectodermal Tumors. PNET tumors are highly aggressive and have a poor survival rate. There are currently no effective chemotherapies or other curative therapies available. The Foundation is in partnership with the Royal Children's Hospital, Walter and Eliza Hall Institute, and I-CARe, (an international consortium of the world leaders in medical and scientific research into aggressive pediatric brain cancers). Money we raise will be used to fund these organisations for medical and scientific research to develop better treatments and an eventual cure.
In order for us to attract as many attendees as possible, we have tried to ensure the concert is a sell-out. We have hired a four-piece band, a lighting engineer, a sound engineer and two OH&S officers for compliance reasons. Therefore, we need your help to help us cover these associated costs. Kindly donate, or come join us for a fun family day out and purchase a ticket to our show for only $21!
Thank you in advance!
