Updated as of Sep 2023: We’re starting off with $0 from the fund as we’ve donated previous fundings. However, we’re still in need of fundings for Milky’s treatment options. His condition has worsened to 6 seizures within 36hours. We explored several costly medication options for him and he is currently hospitalised. Hospitalisation fees have racked up to thousands within a day and we might not be able to even consider it as an option anymore if we don’t have enough money for it. We’re prioritising our own money on his medications but any fundings for his hospitalisation bills would be greatly appreciated. 🙏🏻

Please help to save my 2-year-old Japanese Spitz, Milky’s life. We need your help to support his hospitalisation bills that have racked up to the thousands.

Milky experienced his first seizure on a Tuesday night and we immediately rushed him to the emergency vet. Please refer to the video for the episode that we managed to capture on our CCTV.

We were heartbroken and frightened to see him having a seizure. He lost all control of his body and was twitching and foaming at the mouth. His eyes lost focus and he seemed to be in pain. After the seizure he could barely stand and his legs gave way. He is only 2 year old and I cannot imagine how confusing and scary this must have been for him.

Thereafter he was put on seizure watch and blood test results all came out looking normal. His liver heart and kidney are all function well. The next morning he experienced a second seizure. We were referred to a neurologist specialist but currently we have yet to find the cause of his seizures.

Milky is now on anti-seizure medication until we visit the neurologist specialist for an MRI scan. We were informed that an MRI scan would cost $4000. The blood tests, medications, and hospitalisation bills at the emergency vet so far have racked up to $2,262 after adding up the $1,250 deposit we made. Currently our target is $10,000 because aside from the MRI scan there might be other hospitalisation and medication bills, which we will update again on Monday. Should the bills be less than what was funded, we will donate to animal charity organisations or other fundraisers, and will show proof of donation.

As a university student who is diligently working part-time jobs to raise Milky to the best of my abilities, I am unable to afford the burden of his hefty medical bills. I am reaching out with all sincerity mixed with desperation for you to share this story and if you are able to and willing, to please help fund Milky’s medical bills.

Any amount of donation will help, no matter how small. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and support. Bless your hearts

* we are fundraising in order to give him the best treatment plan possible and the best life he can have. If not for all the kindness shown by so many people, milky might miss out on some treatment options that we are unable to provide for. We believe it is our responsibility to fight for giving him the best, even if it means raising funds. We are immensely grateful to the hundreds of kind and generous people who noticed our plight and, despite not being obligated to, still donated out of the goodness of their hearts. We hope to share good news soon of Milky’s recovery. Thank you.

If you would like to donate a small amount and have troubles with the available payment methods, please scan my QR code for easier transaction. We will count this in the total amount raised. Thank you. <3

Update: We have donated the remaining amount from the bills. This fundraiser will continue to be active and any amount donated will be used for Milky’s medications as he is on costly long term medication. Thank you very much.

NEWEST update: September 2023. Milky had a cluster of 4 seizures within 24hours after a vet visit. He probably got really stressed and anxious. :( He is now put on two more less toxic medications in addition to the current medication, so costs are increasing. His knees are also weak and we have to consider surgery for him the next year or so.

We’re not asking for donations to pay for all of Milky’s medications and surgery, just asking for the financial assistance from anyone who is capable of and finds value in donating to help Milky and us as his pawrents. Please head over to see our updates for more information!

After having 6 seizures in 36 hours, we brought Milky to Westside Emergency for hospitalisation and seizure watch monitoring. His condition stabilised there and he was discharged 36 hours later. The bills racked up to more than $2,000 and his previous vet visit to Animal Wellness was about $500. His. . . . .
