I would like to help my boyfriend Michael John Fuentes (32 y/o) turning 33 this Aug. 19, by asking for financial support. He was diagnosed last Feb.2019 of Kidney Failure. Both his Kidneys do not function anymore. He needs dialysis to filter and purify his blood. This helps keep his fluids and electrolytes in balance when the kidneys can't do their job. In his condition right now the doctor said it’s not adviceable for him to have kidney transplant because his body is still weak. Right now he undergoes dialysis for 3 times a week. This procesure costs a lot but because of his Philhealth Card the amount was lessen yet he can only use the said card 90 times in a year. So in next few months he won’t be able to use it and avail of the discount. Most of the time, before he gets to have a dialysis he needs to be given several medicines to make his Blodd Pressure normal and his heartrate to be balanced or else he can’t have a dialysis. Although we can use his Philhealth and PWD card to avail some discounts still it’s not enough. Thank God for the love and support of his family but they also suffer from financial problems because of this situation. Both his parents are retired already and just spend their time attending to his needs. He has two sisters working abroad but they also have families to provide with. Their resources are not enough.
I’m his girlfriend and it breaks my heart to see him like this. I’m always holding back my tears when I think of worst case scenarios just to be strong for him . It saddens me to realize that maybe our dreams for each other won’t be possible in the future anymore. The jolly and energetic boyfriend that I know before became weak, sad and depressed now. He can’t eat anything he wants and can’t drink too much water. He can’t do the things he love doing like playing basketball. So here I am willing to do anything for him to help his situation and somehow ease their family’s finacial problem. It would be very helpful to support his medicines, labtest and surgery to remove the IJ in his neck and to change it with the Fistula on his arm to prevent infection. He also has water in his Lungs and stomach. He vomits blood last week and the dictors need to get sample fluids from his stomach to check if there are other complications. I really hope you can help us with our situation right now. Thank you very much and God bless you all.
