My name is Jun Chen, the founder of Plip Plop - The most versatile sandals brand.

I am a single fatI followed SPARKS series, want to see a chance of working with DBS foundation.

Here is A brief intro. of myself and Plip Plop Inc.

I have worked over 12 years in footwear industry. We all know how easy and cheap a pair of sandals/flip flops can be made, in fact, over 2 billion pairs of sandals/flip flops are made each year. Imagine 50% out of 2 billion become a waste and ended in the ocean or in our neighborhood each year.

I have worked many years to find a way to make them more practical, eco-friendly, 100% vegan, recyclable, durable over 5+ years, anti-slippery (the fact that, 90% of the flip flops in the market are not anti-slippery as they said they were), free warranty cover over 5 years and more importantly, they are made with recycled materials.

Causes of sandals/flip flops waste are : short usage life-time made with low quality, broken strap…..etc
