❤️PLEASE SUPPORT ZACH's LEUKEMIA BATTLE❤️
After a bone marrow biopsy last May 28, 2019, our 2-yo nephew, Zachary John Ethan, was diagnosed with ACUTE LYMPHOCYTIC LEUKEMIA wherein the recommended treatment is CHEMOTHERAPY. The procedures will be done, as per initial assessment, for 4x a week for the first 6 months but the total treatment period is 3 years. Actual chemotherapy sessions will proceed based on Zach's response and condition during the course of the treatment.
Breakdown of chemotherapy costs include chemo medicines, supplies and chemo room usage, doctor's fee, maintenance medicines, blood transfusion, blood tests and other laboratory tests which may be deemed necessary by his doctor (Pediatrician Hematologist).
Late last year, Zach's father suffered a debilitating stroke which forced her mother to resign from work and her two sisters to stop schooling as during that time Zach's father's mobility was greatly impaired. During this time, Zach would also suffer from recurring cough, colds and fever which went on until the first half of 2019 where finally during his May 2019 confinement (admitted due to his paleness and weakness), his CBC test revealed very low counts of RBC and very high counts of WBC. Blood transfusion and bone marrow biospy were done to improve his CBC and to confirm his doctor's initial diagnosis.
Zach's father's stroke had been a big financial struggle for their family as his father had to stay for more than a month in the hospital (3 weeks in ICU) and has to continue with several maintenance medicines during his recovery period. This year, there were instances that both Zach and his father were sick and admitted in the hospital at the same time.
The family has not yet recovered financially and the diagnosis that the youngest member of the family has cancer (Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia) is the biggest test that we are all praying to overcome. Zach's chemotherapy should be done continuously and we need all the help that we can get to ensure that all chemo sessions, tests, transfusion, medicines, etc. will push through as instructed by his doctor.
At this moment and due to the circumstances, both Zach's parents are not able to work and so we are humbly reaching out to you to please help us save our nephew and help us in his fight against cancer. All your prayers and donations matter and we are thanking each and everyone of you in advance for your generosity. God bless you and your family. 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you very much. Maraming Maraming salamat po.
