Please save Patches, a very ill stray dog

Patches is a sad, lonely and blighted stray I happened upon in Cheras Batu 9, Malaysia. He was initially emaciated and suffering from numerous skin diseases that ravaged his entire body. Despite being a stray and miserable, he is such a sweet, loyal and loving fellow, who craves touch and delights in human companionship. I managed to treat his skin diseases and have endeavoured to feed him at least once everyday since but alas, he is now wounded quite badly at his front knee and just collapsed and fell about a meter to the ground yesterday. I am in such anguish over this and shudder at the anticipated monumental medical fees. I could only email my regular vet as she is currently on maternity leave and am not encouraged at her reply at all.

I have been for numerous years now an entirely self-funded and self-operating animal rescuer in Malaysia. I am unable to get help of any kind anywhere but I cannot bear to turn a blind eye and cold shoulder to the sufferings of wonderful innocent creatures like Patches. So, I try to do everything I can but it is such a soul-depleting struggle, not just financially but emotionally. I have lost so many, not just to illnesses but tragic accidents. One of the many stray dogs that I care for just got killed in a tragic accident about a week ago and now, this is happening to Patches.

The best thing would be for someone kind and magnanimous enough to foster, or even better adopt, Patches and help him in every way possible to recover. You would gain such a lovely companion, which is who he is. This way, he can also heal from whatever medical treatment/procedure he undergoes in a loving home. I cannot do this as I live in an apartment with five rescue cats and as said, am single-handedly feeding, caring for and rescuing animals all on my own whilst trying to hold down my job.

Without this, all I can hope for is to raise enough money as fast as I can to cover all the imminent expensive medical treatments he would need. Please do not let Patches suffer even more in this life of his and die, of such an infuriatingly unacceptable reason - the inability to pay for the urgent help he needs. Please help me help him at the very least and do not let such a tragic fate befall such an undeserving and loving creature that is Patches.
