Help Twinkle raise money for scoliosis surgery

Scoliosis has made my life a living hell. I can’t breathe well, sleep well, or sit for more than 10 minutes without being in severe pain. I had to start sleeping on a plank to feel more comfortable in 2016 and the doctor said I had passed the age where the curve would progress but another scan in 2019 showed that it had progressed some more.

With the curve, my ribcage is crushing my internal organs and making it hard for me to breathe.

I already have asthma but when I first had a breathing attack from the rib issue, I knew it was different. My inhaler didn’t work, I had to be nebulized.

I thought I could stomach the pain before but now I cannot, I tried to save up but the money I earned was peanuts. I almost failed out of college because I missed my final year defense and exams. My good result got turned into rubbish in the blink of an eye and it was hard for me to apply for jobs after university.

I am 5’7 with a BMI of 16, but I have a scoliosis curve of 68 so despite being skinny, my body looks grotesque. I can only wear hoodies.

I can’t even go outside without people making fun of me or calling me hunchback. I haven’t had one successful relationship because of how I look and I’ve spent all my money going in and out of hospitals to get painkillers and supplements. I’ve been laid off because my boss was tired of giving me too many off days because I keep getting hospitalized.

Please help save my life. Living with scoliosis has been really hard, physically, psychologically, career wise and socially.

Whatever money you have to donate, please donate. Please. It could be a dollar, 5, 10, 100, 500, 1000, anything please.m and kindly share so others can donate what they have too.

I just want to live a normal life.

I don’t even want to look beautiful, I just want to be normal like everyone else. I just don’t want to be in pain anymore.

The doctors in my country don’t specialize in bone surgery, I have to fly out and back for the surgery. Please don’t be offended that I’ve added the flight costs to this money too. That’s approximately 850 dollars, hence the 170,850 total. At least the money I have saved on my own can be used for B2 visa and passport application.
