Hello. My name is Lena. On photo you can see my twin sister Lesya. In January 2012 she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, after which she underwent a long course of chemotherapy treatment. Following this she spent a long time in remission. However, the illness unfortunately returned in February 2017 and again she needs to fight for life.

Lesya need a bone marrow transplant in order to recover.
She is only 31 years old and she wants to live a full life. Unfortunately, such an operation cannot be done in our country, Ukraine. We have found a specialist hospital in Minsk (Belarus) where this operation can be done. The Ukrainian government has agreed to finance the operation only.
However, before this operation can be performed, it is necessary for Lesya to re-enter remission again, with further chemotherapy treatment required. The Ukrainian government unfortunately will not pay for this. The cost of the chemotherapy is $ 50,000, of which she has managed to raise $5,000 from her own savings and kind donations.

The first stage of chemotherapy has now started. Lesya would like to ask everyone who can help to please respond to her misfortune and help to finance the remaining stages of the necessary chemotherapy treatment which is $45,000.

We would be grateful and thankful for any contributions however small, that will help Lesya to beat disease and to live
