Please Save Dogs Stranded By Flood

Hello everyone,

Malaysia was badly hit by a flood.

Recently we launched an emergency animal search during flood within several places in Malaysia. There are several rescue teams that had been deployed. Some of them save the livestock (cows, sheep, chicken, etc.), and some of them save pets (cats, birds, fishes, etc.)

Unfortunately, pity for the dogs, they were left behind. Maybe because the majority of people here are Muslims and they have special rules in terms of touching dogs, especially the wet ones. Sorry, I don’t know the actual rules. Few dogs were killed in the flood but we managed to rescue a lot.

We successfully rescued 357 dogs within 2 days with the help of our volunteers. These dogs are now safely settled down at 20 locations thanks to our shelter partners and group.

We are now waiting for their owners to come after they settled down with their home and family post-flood issues. Approximately in 3 months' time.

Our shelter is in the need of funding as we are not getting enough help from local people here.
