My name is James. I am appealing to you to urgently help reunite my beautiful wife and I in Canada as soon as possible please. The closing date for this fundraiser is March 31, 2020 at midnight exactly.

My wife is a Canadian citizen and she is living in Canada and I am in South Africa. We both want to be in Canada. Apart from my wife, I have no family that I can turn to for help because my whole family (10 people) died in a single train accident in 1991. That is also why I am appealing to you for help. I must go to Canada to be with my wife as she suffers from depression. To do that, I need CA$20,000 (Twenty thousand Canadian dollars) the breakdown of which is:

  • Visa =CA$350 This amount includes biometrics, courier fees and transport to and from the Canadian High Commission in Pretoria South Africa, two nights stay at a shelter and food for the duration of the stay in Pretoria so that I can give my biometrics to the Canadian High Commission.
  • Return Airfare (A must because I am not a Canadian citizen. ) Economy class =CA$1,500.
  • Meals (During long layovers) =CA$200
  • An apartment in Canada (my wife is living with her family at the moment)
  • Food, transport and clothes (I don't have winter clothes adequate for Canadian winters and I am going to need winter clothes.)

  • I work as a driver in the Port Elizabeth Harbour at about CA$3,00 an hour. I am not assured of shifts as there are more drivers than available work. I cannot be appointed permanently because I am 62. Also, I am a pensioner. From a pension of CA$178, and my salary of about CA$190, I might have CA$50,00 left over for the month to live on. So, it is going to take me forever to save the money to go to my wife. That is another reason I am asking for your help. My monthly expenses are:

    - Rent: CA$200;

    - Transport: (To work, the clinic and sometimes to church) between CA$70 and CA$80 per month;

    - Savings: The balance, however much that is. It can be anything from CA$10,00 to CA$15,00 per month per month. Sometimes I don't save for 3, 4 months because of unforeseen expenses. My wife suffers from depression and cannot work, so she cannot help me financially. She lives with her family in Canada who resent helping her and so they do as little as possible to help. This is a cause of major bouts of depression for her and this incapacitates her to do anything at all for herself. That is the major reason I want to be with her in Canada. I am her only support and her biggest fan! I love her so, so much. That is another reason I want to be reunited with her!

    I am appealing to everyone to donate between CA$5,00 (five dollars)and CA$10,00 (ten dollars) towards my expenses please.

    In return, I will be keeping everyone who donates money to my cause, updated with a public shout out by name. So, please don't forget to leave your name and your country name for me to acknowledge you on social media when you make a donation.
