Spike needs 2 surgeries: the first surgery is an extensive dental surgery to be performed on May 16, 2017. Because of his age and kidney issues, I was told to expect the HIGH estimate of 986.50 with a probable 20% upcharge. (Picture of dental estimate included). The second surgery is to remove a large painful kidney stone. The University of Georgia quotes approximately $2000.00 to remove it. He needs to go there because removing kidney stones in an older cat is their expertise. The total for both surgeries is approximately $3000.00

I found him when he was a kitten; starving with only 2 hairs on the top of his head; a solid blanket of fleas on his entire body; ravaged with infection. A vet told me "I could find better cats than this at the shelter and to put him down." I found a compassionate veterinarian who helped him. He made it past all those hurdles and has been my best friend ever since. I helped him as a tiny kitten; I am helping him now as a senior.
