Please help with the vet bills of Tommy the stray (野良猫トミーを助けてください)

the 13th of June, while walking my dog i noticed a cat hiding under some rental storage rooms, he was severely starved and looked wounded. first thing i did was to rush to the close by convenience store and get some food for him. he ate 5 pouches and 1 can in one go, so i realized the level of his starvation was huge, and when he came out for eating i also noticed his legs were even worse than what i thought, he absolutely needed help! so i left my dog at home and went out again with a carry case to bring him back home. since i have other cats i made a quarantine room only for him and then as soon as it was possible took him to the vet, because his front leg was just so red and swollen that i was fearing the worst for it. it comes out Tommy (we decided to call him this way) got himself glued on a mouse glue trap, one of his back legs has still got some glue to it. in order to unglue himself from the trap he tore off his fur and skin. but on his front leg, the infected one there was also a bite possibly from a cat fight, and that leg got very infected with pus. the pus is so much that now Tommy needs to go to the vet daily for cleaning it up and put fresh bandages. Tommy has a fever, he's dehydrated and very weak. the main problem right now is that the pus has reached until the muscle and the vet thinks he may need to be operated soon in order to open the leg until the muscle to get rid of the pus because so far the daily cleanings are not able to get rid of it all. furthermore, he got a blood test and felv/fiv test, so far so good, but since that leg bite is still quite fresh the vet recommends another felv/fiv test in a few weeks time. also, he will need to be sterilized, as he's an intact male who most likely might start spray as soon as he starts feeling better. we will give him a poo test to check for intestinal parasites and as last thing, he will also need a tooth cleaning because he makes a terrible grinding sound when eating wet food, like he's eating stones. the vet says his teeth are in a very bad shape because he's an elderly cat, so his gums are inflammated because of the tartar build up. The japanese veterinary system is not very cheap and there's no medical help for stray cats who have accidents like Tommy. After Tommy gets back to good health we will try to find a family for him, as he's a very sweet and calm old boy. if that fails, we will try to keep him with us, if our other cats allow it. however first of all he needs to heal from his leg's infection and for that we need all possible help since this was a very unexpected expense right now, but how could i possibly walk by a cat in the need and leave him there to die?! we have put the fundraising in yen only because we're in Japan, so to avoid confusion let's say :

100yen = 0.71 euro, 0.74 dollars, 0.61 british pounds

so far the expenses have been 23.254 yen ( 164.02 eu) and 3.850 yen (27.15 eu). we don't know yet the expenses ahead but we will keep on updating as soon as we have the next bills.

6月13日、犬の散歩をしている途中でレンタルストレージの下で見つけました。見ると骨と皮だけでガリガリに痩せていて、傷も負っていました。

家まで連れ帰ってよく見てみると足の毛がなく(添付した写真参照)、皮膚までめくれていました。

動物病院に連れて行ったところ、ネズミ捕りのノリに引っかかって、無理矢理はがしたところ皮まで持っていかれたようで、まだ足にそのときのノリのようなものが残っていました。

血液検査をしたところ、HIVやFELVは運良くありませんでしたが、喧嘩もしたようで傷がついているので、その時他の猫からもらっている可能性もあるためしばらくしたら再検査になります。

元々どこかの飼い猫だったのか首輪の跡がありますが、マイクロチップは埋め込まれておらず、去勢もしていませんでした。

右腕が腫れていましたが、切開したところ大量の膿が出て、かなり奥まで膿が浸透しており手術になる可能性があります。また歯石もダンゴのようになっているため咀嚼がうまくできず、これも手術をする必要があります。

寄生虫のテスト等、まだまだ色々あるため、どうか諸費用を助けていただければ大変助かります。
