Please help us fund my mom’s bone surgery.

Hi friends,

Hope everyone's doing well and I really appreciate you dropping by this post.

Last July 2, 2022, my mom slipped down the stairs. She ended up with a really swollen foot and ankle from her fall. We're quite used to her slipping sometimes without having huge complications so she brushed it off, thinking the swelling would die down with a few days of rest.

However, almost a week has passed and although the swelling has lessened, my mom noticed that whenever she tries to plant her foot on the floor, it felt as if her foot was disconnected from her leg. We finally decided to have her injury checked out by an Ortho only to figure out that she has 2 fractures around her left ankle. One of the fractures are severe, meaning casting her injury until the bone regenerates isn't an option that would ensure she'd recover well so we have to undergo surgery within the week, July 15 2022, and have implants to help her bones be intact again, as suggested by our doctor. She's bound to have an Open Reduction Internal Fixation procedure done, with titanium plate implants.

Although we really want to push through with the surgery because we know this injury would greatly affect my mom's and family's life and routines, we're taken aback with the huge amount of medical expenses we suddenly have to prepare within a span of the week just to push through with the surgery. We're really hoping to let our mom walk again and let her be her usual productive self. So we're humbly asking for any kind of support.

Any help would be immensely appreciated. And any help could entail a huge turnaround for my mom and how her daily life would play out from here.
