UPDATE ON 5 DECEMBER 2021

In October, we rescued two kittens in distress.

*** Baby kitten Lucky already has suffered more than enough for his "5 weeks long" life! Imagine how terrible it must have been for the baby to fend for himself on the mean streets! He was attacked and injured badly by another animal. Then a "human" threw him in the nearby rubbish bin!

As soon as we learned about his plight, we admitted him at Dobro Hrumvane vet clinic in Sofia. Lucky spent 52 days in the hospital for treatment of his open wounds and a persistent intestinal infection. His vet bill is 555 Euro in total. The outstanding amount to date is 373 Euro, which we must pay A.S.A.P.

***Little Daisy was born with deformed front legs. She wouldn't have lasted on the streets. We are looking for a long term, loving foster home for her and will need funds to pay for her food, toilet and vet bills for vaccination and castration.

To watch the kittens' videos, please click on their names in pink.

Please, donate for these two darlings. Help us help them. Together we are saving precious lives!

Dear supporters,

Bulgarian Stray Cats Rescue & Rehabilitation Centre (BSCRRC) is run by a small team of dedicated animal lovers. We rescue, treat, rehabilitate & re-home Bulgarian cats in distress like our disabled sweetheart GLORIA. We rescued her in 2017. She has lived all her life as a stray. One fateful day she was run over by а speeding car, which almost killed her. The cat's abdominal cavity was wide open and her internal organs spilled out. Her right eyeball was hanging out of its socket and her right hind paw was totally crushed. She's underwent a lengthy surgery and has recovered miraculously well, but had no where to go and was put back on the streets. She wasn't copping and her health was deteriorating fast. When we learned of her plight, we stepped in immediately. We treated her and placed her in a foster home. Gloria will live with us to the end of her life. Her chronic illnesses flare up occasionally and require treatment. She has no chance to be adopted.

In Bulgaria, the stray cats are the most neglected animals. On the streets they live in misery & die in agony. The situation is desperate and more than often we are rescuing strays that need emergency medical attention. Sometimes admitting the injured or sick cat to a clinic A.S.A.P is the difference between life and death. And if we don't have enough funds we panic because most vet clinics require payment at the time of treatment. That is the reason why we started this fundraiser. With your help we will improve our ability to respond to urgent cases.

PLEASE DONATE. TOGETHER WE ARE SAVING PRECIOUS LIVES!
