Dear friends and supporters,
Thanks to your kind donations in December 2020, we’ve made it comfortably during January. But our food supplies are very low now and we need your help again.
Last month we focused our efforts on adoption campaigns and as a result four of our kittens have new, loving families. Re-homing our rescues is more complex at present. Due to the Covid-19 related lockdowns in the EU and UK, we can rely only on the limited pool of potential adopters living in our country.
And we have new vet bills to pay - for health checks, vaccinations and castrations. We need €850 to get through the month . Please, donate! Let’s keep our sweet rescue cats and the colony strays we are taking care of, happy and healthy. Full tummies are the least they deserve. In this hostile world the stray animals have only you and us!
Heartfelt thanks in advance to all kind people who will respond to our plea for help!
BSCRRC stands for Bulgarian Stray Cats Rescue & Rehabilitation Centre. We rescue, treat (when needed), rehabilitate and re-home Bulgarian cats in distress.
In Bulgaria, the stray cats are the most neglected of all animals. On the streets they live in misery & die in agony. The kitties on the title photo epitomize their collective suffering! The situation is desperate and yet, there aren’t any government funded shelters, castration and adoption programs for these animals. Their only hope are the handful of rescues like our BSCRRC.
