Please Help To Attend Graduation!

I can't afford the plane ticket to attend my older brother's graduation this May. He will be one of the first members of my family to graduate from college. He is my closest friend in the world, and it would be a DREAM come true for the both of us if I could be there to see him graduate. It would also be beyond amazing to finally get to visit Boston, the place that he says changed his entire outlook on life.

WHAT:

My older brother is graduating from Boston University this May and my family cannot afford the airfare to travel to Boston for his graduation ceremony.

WHEN & WHERE:

His graduation ceremony is on May 17 in Boston, MA, USA.

WHY: 

My family is from Kingston, Jamaica and comes from modest beginnings. My father has worked very hard to be able to provide us with a modest comfortable life in Jamaica. However the recent downtown in the economy has hit my family pretty hard and things have gotten a lot tighter financially.

My brother Jon goes to Boston University on a full academic scholarship, he is one of the first members of my family to go to college. His graduation is this May and I would love to attend with my family, but my parents could only afford to buy airline tickets for the themselves. As it stands now I will NOT be able to afford the ticket to fly to Boston and attend the graduation with them. I have asked some of my family and friends if they can help out, but they cannot afford to help. 

 I would love to attend Jon's college graduation, I know it would mean the world to him to have me there. I have never been to Boston before, so it would be a dream come true to finally get a chance to see his college campus, and Boston, a place that I have heard so many incredible stories about. From what Jon tells me, Boston is an amazing place with alot of amazing things to do and places to see. I'm excited just thinking about the chance of going to see a place like that. It would truly be the experience of a lifetime to visit.

WHO: Jon is my hero, my role model, and I would LOVE to be there to see him achieve one of his biggest life goals and make our entire family proud.To be there with my brother, my father and my mother to celebrate this incredible occasion, would be the experience of a lifetime. 

HOW MUCH: The round-trip plane ticket would cost $700 US Dollars to fly to Boston and back to Jamaica.
