Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my plight. I'm a disabled single mother of two wonderful children. Unfortunately, the money I receive from the government every month is not enough to cover the costs of every day life. We're constantly short somewhere, or letting one bill go past due in order to pay for something more important. I'm due to have shoulder surgery next month, and tried to get my two year old boy into the daycare that helps with costs. They're full, so I need to find somewhere else for him that will charge full price which is at least $100 a week if I'm lucky. I don't receive child support since the "father" is in prison for murder. The reason I need my shoulder repaired is a torn rotator cuff I got from being dragged down the stairs by him. I had my knee repaired last year for the same reason. He is a very evil and violent person. We had to escape from him in 2016 with only the clothes on our backs. Everything any of us ever owned was left behind, and we had to start over. To top it off, I just received a letter from the food stamp organization. They're dropping us from $95 a month to $54. Ninety five barely covered anything. I don't understand why they're doing this. We struggle every month just to cover the basics. Rent, food, car insurance, phone, utilities... Disability is not enough. I hate to resort to begging, but I'm caught between a rock and a hard place. Any amount will be very much appreciated. Thank you again.
