Campaign Story
Hello everyone.
You might heard from friends or family someone you know in Cape Town, South Africa, a wildfire that started on Wednesday, 7th of June 2017 and is still not under control, has killed residents of our beloved town Knysna.
It damaged our houses, our schools and everything in it's way and people have been affected in such a way that we never could imagine. We would like to help those who are most affected by pledging and donating funds to a relive fund we opened yesterday.
Any donation is welcome, which could be $20 $50 or $100 or anything you can give.
Die Burger in Cape Town newspaper already brought a truck full of clothes, shoes, food as well as dog and cat food from Cape Town that was collected at their offices in Bloemhof building, Bellville.
Businesses, schools and most local churches in Cape Town started with collecting more of these essential items and it will be transported to Knysna soon, but we cannot say for sure that it will be enough.
Donations to the releive fund can be made to the following bank account details.
Account Name: Knysna Fire Relieve Fund
Bank: FNB
Account Number: 62669125546
Branch Code: 250655
We aim to raise enough to set up temporary shelters, re-build houses and schools.
Please people let's help the people of Knysna.
Kom ons staan soos een man saam.
