An elderly Indian couple is facing a severe food crisis due to lockdown in the area adjacent to Khuntakata Switch Gate in Barakupat, a remote village of Shyamnagar Police Station in Bangladesh.

Their home is the North Twenty-four Parganas of India. Their only child in their home country is twenty-six years old. Their son is battling cancer in a hospital in India.
