I am a high school student who wishes to help the hungry in Nepal. I've visited the country before and saw many who don't have shelter or food. I had met some children my age; they had a constant fear of perhaps not being able to have a warm meal for the day. When I remember their faces, I feel motivated to help them in any way possible. It is essential for children to eat since eating gives them energy to learn. If they don't have access to food it can danger their future and prevent them from performing their best at school. Nepal is a beautiful and growing country, but I realized that there are many in need of help. Covid-19 has had major effects on the country. Tourism, a significant factor in the economy, has been diminished due to lockdowns and travel bans. The economy has suffered greatly as many people have lost their jobs and are unable to work. Many of the homeless have been hit hard by Covid-19 too. I wish to ease the struggles by supporting people through food. During these times, although there is no cure yet, there should be no empty stomachs. By donating even a bit of money, many will be able to fill their stomachs. The money that is raised will be sent over to Nepal; it will be used to buy food that's distributed to the hungry. To achieve this goal, I can't do this alone, so I want to ask you to spare a little bit of your time and change. Please donate and share with others! Any bit of help is highly appreciated!
