Three weeks ago we started helping the Families of True Manila community and other provinces and areas around metro manila. We managed to help more than 500 Families and more than 150 Individuals who are either stranded in some parts of the Philippines so they can get food, and we managed to send help to some families that was informed to us by our followers who need help in some parts of the Philippines.
The crisis here in the Philippines will take time before the people can go back to their normal life. Not the Enhance Community Quarantine is extended until May 15. More and more families are already loosing hope on how they can deal with the food to provide for their kids everyday. Now we are receiving a lot of messages asking even for a little help.
Sadly some are going out in the big roads with a sign asking for help. We are continue on communicating with different people on how we can help more. Each help maybe little but it is really needed now. Everyday is like a battle for the parents where to get food for their families.
Each 5 kilos of rice, 1 Dozen of Egg, Milk, Fish or Vegetable costs more less 16 dollars can last from 5 - 7days for a family of 4-5. About $2.50 per day. I know we need to find a long term solution for this, but having said that, we are also limited to move due to the lock down in some areas. Me and my family are still stranded in this island of boracay and we can only do minimal actions and one of the biggest way we managed to share any help is communicating thru social media.
This fund raising does not focuses on just one place but to as many places in the Philippines as possible. We met some other people doing their best to help, and this is a good sign of not giving up Hope for everyone. If more people will share a little help, the suffering of each families affected by this crisis can decrease. Parents will not try to go out to find food, because as parents once our kids are hungry, we do not care anymore as long as we can find help to support our family.
If you want to check some updates, everything will be posted on my facebook page True Manila to give you an idea how we are helping the families not only in one place but wherever help is needed. Please share this campaign or send a little help and this is the only way we can fight this crisis right now.
Thank You for Helping
