I have been accepted into a healthcare program that is based in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. I will be working with and shadowing healthcare professionals in community care facilities, such as nursing homes. I graduate in May 2021, from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, with my Bachelors in Biology. I am very excited because my goal is to become a physician assistant with a geriatrics specialization. This program is an amazing opportunity for me to learn and help others, as well as improve my Spanish speaking skills.
