PLEASE HELP STEPHEN GENOTIVA FIGHT PANCREATITIS

Hi! It is with humble heart that we knocked at your doors. We are raising fund for our brother's medical needs and increasing hospital bills. We felt so helpless and anxious as his medical expenses has gone up to a level we never expected. As of this moment we are doing all the best possible way we can to seek assistance from government agencies,colleagues,friends, relatives & institutions, but it seems that this help would not suffice the needs of my brother. Our parents has no regular income and also depends on my brother's allotment for their daily needs. My brother is still single and he's the one helping our parents since we, his siblings had already our own family and struggling financially.

On January 28, 2019, he was rushed to the hospital due to an agonizing pain he felt on the right portion of his abdomen that radiates to his entire stomach. At first, he thought it was just a discomfort that will go away soon, but instead he felt more pain, nauseated and later on vomited.

Upon his arrival at the emergency, certain procedures were done immediately and was then diagnosed to have an inflamed gallbladder that needs to be operated the soonest as a gallstone already blocked his bile duct. The operation could have been carried out immediately after the medical clearances, however, his blood pressure was too high that to proceed with the procedure will be highly risky.

It was much to our tension when he was moved to the Surgical ICU on Jan. 30, 2019 as his condition worsened with his pancreas now swelling. He turned yellowish, the infection of his pancreas all the more made his blood pressure fluctuating and unstable; the laparoscopy couldn’t be undertaken anytime. It was at this time that I was so scared and fear more for my brother's safety.

For the next 6 days, my brother stayed at the ICU. Each day was a torture to all of us, painfully waiting for good news. He was closely monitored and medication being applied to push the gallstone out of the bile duct. To our great relief, on the sixth day, February 5, 2019, he was taken out of the Surgical ICU and transferred to a regular room.

As of this writing, my brother isstill under observation for his condition to improve. The swelling of the pancreas hasn’t subsided yet and a pseudocyst was found last week. How we prayed so hard everydayfor things to get better. What could only be a consolation is that my brother continue to fight for his life and that what we hold on to.

The hospital bill continually increase until such time he will be finally discharged from the hospital. But as yet, his confinement is indefinite as his condition needs to stabilize for the laparoscopy to push through. It would only be then that my brother will be fully out from danger.

With this circumstance, our anxiety is getting worse. Not only of the emotional distress we have to handle but the great mental griefwe have to face due to the financial difficulty we are suffering now. Becuase the running hospital bill as of Feb. 27, 2019 has already gone up to P600,0000.00 plus and still continous.

Please HELP us! The only way that we can be slightly relieved of our emotional pain is when we will be extended financial aid by your most generous heart.
