Hello, my name is Raymond and I am a proud new owner of a Maine Coone kitten called Fudao saved in Hong Kong on 25 Feb 2020.
It's the first day we brought Fudao home and we are so happy with our new family addition. He was a typical young curious kitten and for the first few weeks he was our baby. Until a few weeks later on 2 April our whole world turned completely upside down. He had difficulty breathing so we contacted the place we got him from straight away and asked for instructions. They advised us to go to the emergency room immediately, to which after tests, he was diagnosed with the fatal wet-neuro FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis)! Our hearts shattered knowing this was a fatal disease. Thankfully, we searched frantically on the internet for potential treatment plans, and saw that a non-approved injection GS-441524 may work.
The treatment has started and is going well so far; however, already building up as he is 4kg and keeps growing steadily. Every few days, a higher dosage may be required. Each day he requires 2.6ml, and each vial is 5ml.
We would like to sincerely and humbly seek your help to save our baby's life and join us to watch over his recovery. We are so heart-broken by this experience and can use any help we can get. Fudao has become a central pillar to our life and we cannot even bear the thought of losing him. We saved him at the beginning and now this FIP disease is trying to take that away.

Update posted by Raymond Lee at 02:15 amFudao has relapsed and we have begun treatment again, at a higher dosage 15mg/kg as recommended by US FIP Warriors Vets, and Dr P. We are heartbroken he has relapsed and can use all the help we can get. For reference, Fudao is 5.2kg, which means 5.2ml of GS daily.
