Please help save Oreo!

Hi! My name is Oreo, a fluffy little Mixed dwarf rabbit. I am five and a half years old now, living with my owner Janet and her family in Hong Kong. They adopted me four years ago, who at that time was a frightened and scared little soul, abandoned twice.

All seems perfect for the past few years, as I can feel the love Janet and her family has for me. I dropped my guard and loved them back. But everything changed a few days ago.

That morning, I couldn't breathe well and wasn't able to eat anything. Janet took me to a vet immediately. They placed me into critical care the moment they found out I couldn't breathe properly. After X-Ray scans, it is suspected by the veterinarian that I have a punctured diaphragm and some of my organs in my lower abdomen is displaced. The shadows in my left lung also show possibilities of pneumonia or cancer.

I don't want to give up. Neither does my owner Janet. But the sudden and unexpected medical bills are crippling to her and her family. I am on fluid therapy everyday as I am dehydrated. I am kept in critical care and an oxygenated tank as it is extremely difficult for me to breathe, let alone move around. I am also on support syringe feedings as I cannot eat anything by myself. In the coming week, I will have to undergo CT Scans and possible surgeries.

For the coming weeks, CT Scans are already arranged and there is a very high possibility of invasive surgeries. It is estimated that the total medical expense to be approximately HK$70,000 (USD 9,000). We need your help to raise funds to continue my treatment. Please donate any amount you can!
