Please Help Save my Mom Fight Cancer

Hi! My name is Mariel. I am raising funds for my mom, Nancy Cubacub, who is suffering from Stage 2 Breast Cancer Her2 (+). I am hoping that you'll take a moment to read a little about my mom's life and her battle against cancer.

My mom is 51 years old. A loving and caring housewife. A good mother to me and my two siblings. Since my father is an OFW, she is the one who takes care of us since we were little. She is very productive, strong and healthy until one day (Feb 2019) after doing the laundry, she felt a twitching in her breast and discovered a small lump on her right breast. We immediately went to hospital to see a doctor. After her check up and laboratories — ultrasound and mammogram — the doctor suggested to do a core needle biopsy for her 2cm tumor. My mother then confessed to us that she had an ultrasound from 2016 that showed a suspicious lump in the result. She tried to have it checked up but she was always busy taking care of us. She decided to just ignore it since she didn't felt anything in her breast back then and her mammogram result was fine. She was so selfless that she didn't even have time to take care of herself.

Going back, her biopsy result was positive of breast cancer. It was hard for me and my family to accept and believe it. But it was too early for us to just give up. She underwent an operation on March 16, 2019 to remove the tumor and have it examined. The tumor's ER/PR result was HER2 positive which means her cancer cells are very aggressive and needs to be treated with Herceptin drugs after her chemotherapy.

Today, she is now undergoing chemotherapy, currently on her 6th session. After chemotherapy we will be facing our biggest problem because she will then have her Herceptin Treatment for a year which estimated cost is around 70,000-80,000 PHP per session for 18 cycles. In short, we need to have at least 1.2 Million-1.4 Million PHP (24,000-28,000 in USD) to complete the treatment. Sadly, my father can only cover so much of her medical expenses so I have created this campaign to help and fight for my mother's life. The session will be done every after 21 days and we can't possibly have the money on hand without your help.
