PLEASE HELP SAVE DIESEL A.KA. WEZEEY!!! HE WAS A RESCUE, TURNED SERVICE COMPANION, TURNED MOST NEEDED BEST FRIEND!!!! Diesel has broken both his hind legs that needs medical attention A.S.A.P. to have them reset.

Diesel is an amazing Service Animal and friend. I found out about Diesel through a friend. He was a 6 month old puppy that was being mistreated, abused and starved. He needed help right then!!! So doing what anyone else would do, I approched the people that had him and that same day he came home with me. We got him back into shape. It didn't take long to see that he is a very special creation!!! I have P.T.S.D ( POST TERMATIC STRESS DISORDER ). My doctor told me that a Service Animal might be the answer for me. That Doctor was so right!!! We got Diesel registered less then a year later and he has been a God sent.

Not long ago I had Diesel out at the beach playing fetch. This is our favorite activity. I throw the ball out into the Gulf about 30yds and he runs out then swims to get the ball and brings it back. This time the tide was out further then usual. He ran out into the water and does a face plant, pops right back up and swims out to retrive the ball. He brought it back to me, dropped the ball at my feet and fell down flat on his belly. I thought that he was just tired and told him to get up so we could go sit at our towels. It's at that time that I realized both of his hind legs had breaks in of them and he could not walk. It turns out that while running full speed he fell into a large fish bed. That alone shows what an amazing dog that I have!!! He swam 30yds with 2 broken legs to get that ball for his daddy!!!

About a year ago I fell off a second story roof at work and have not been able to work since. So needless to say I do not have the money for the surgry that he needs. This is hard for me in many ways. It hurts me deeply to see him like this!!! I am not a man that likes to admit that I need or can ask for help. Diesel and I have a very co-dependant relationship. He has travaled with me for work almost his whole life and is part of every activity that I'm included in since he was rescued. Now that he is unable to go where I go and do what I do he is not the same dog. He is depressed. It turns out he needs me just as much as I need him and this is why I'm asking people to please help us.
