Please help replace my dead monitor

G othersI'm an attempted fiction writer who depends on his computer not just for writing, but for all my financial, shopping and social interactions with friends around the world. I'm a disabled person living in a province where the government despises the disabled and elderly and allows ever-increasing prices to sending us deeper and deeper into poverty. The idea of savings or an emergency fund is impossible for the disabled because we don't even get enough each month for bills, food, sundries and minimum basic needs without doing without something, so needing to replace something pricy when it breaks down is completely out of my reach. I've never asked for crowdfunding before, and frankly, it's more than uncomfortable to beg others for financial help, but family and close friends are all gone.

My connection to people online is one of my few fragile lifelines for dealing with severe, persistent emotional health and mood disorders issues, so I would be extremely grateful to any who might donate. Honestly, I think only $250 is sufficient, but this platform has a minimum amount of $300.
