Please help our twins survive TTTS!

Our identical twin boys fight to survive as they battle with Twin/Twin Transfusion Syndrome.

We were ecstatic when we discovered I was pregnant New Years Eve 2012.

Fast forward a few weeks, and surprise - twins! Identical twin boys, we were to discover.

Sadly,we were to find out that the boys suffer from Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome, which means that one boy receives too much blood through the single shared placenta, and the other not enough. as can be seen in the photo, the result is that one twin is struggling to stay alive, being virtually 'starved' as each day goes by. We've also been informed that the big twin is suffering from severe strain on it's heart, a direct result of receiving too much blood. The smaller boy also has a defect in his portion of the placenta, meaning his issue with receiving a lack of blood and nutrients is further compounded.

So why are we asking for help?
I was placed on very early maternity leave from work due to these issues, and this leave is now unpaid. My partner and I have been living off his one modest income, and we have now reached a point where everything we have access to is now 'maxed out' following the numerous and continual specialist appointments we must attend [which run into several hundred per visit. A single visit takes almost the entire weeks pay, leaving nothing for rent, food, petrol].

We have been advised that these expenses will only mount and the condition of both boys worsen.
We want more than anything to take home two boys at the end of the day, but the pressure to maintain important appointments in the meantime is destroying us.

We please need your help so that our boys are being given the best chance possible to pull through to the end.
