Florentino Roldan, 80-years-old, is a kind, helpful and loving man. He is a hardworking man, who, up to his age of 80, still works in his office in wee hours even though he was told he could retire.

He was diagnosed with Aortic Aneurysm and abdominal Aneurysm way back in 2017. We were told he was a walking time bomb. It was and still is a sad news to the whole family. We were devastated because we were going through a tough time. Our mother, 90-years-old, was also diagnosed with brain tumor and now bed-ridden, was admitted to the hospital months before we have learned about the fate of our father.

Days, weeks, months, years passed by our father and mother was and still are fighting for their life by religiously being compliant on their check ups and laboratories to monitor their health. They also changed their eating habits in order to fight off their condition. My eldest sister was and still is their sole financial supporter together with the help of family and friends.

Came February of 2019, was the month we thought we lost our father for good. When you look at him sitting in his favorite chair, he looks like he is tired and needs sleep. He was sleeping soundly on his chair. Little did we know he was on the verge of death. My sister informed me he was sleeping on his chair all day long. He would not even eat, drink or go to the comfort room but he was still responsive. On the 3rd day, he was not conversant or responsive. He was rushed to the hospital. When his cardiologist arrived,an immediate surgery was ordered. We were told it was not because of his aneurysm but subdural hemorrhage.

He underwent S/P Burr Holes Crainiotomy which was successful. He spent 3 weeks in the Immediate Surgical Unit for monitoring and care. Doctors were at awe because of his fast recovery. He was able to recognize his family and remembers everyone. He is coherent, conversant and oriented. He had an endoscopy for possible internal bleeding due to black tarry watery stool. Good thing after the endoscopy, the results were clear. He is now in surgical ward and going through recovery.

Our father has a great fighting spirit and continuously live his life to the fullest despite his current condition in the hospital. With the aid of family and friends we were able to sustain the medical expenses. However, due to financial constraints we are now facing shortage of amount to support our father and his medication. We all know medical expenses are quiet high when it comes to neurological problems. No matter what the cost we would like to fight for our father's life.

We humbly hope to reach out to you for financial assistance in facing adversities of an ailing Parent. We wish to be with them for the longest time. This is one way I could give back to them for all the things they have done to me and my family as I'm financially incapable of such expenses. Any and all donations are truly appreciated. We would like to share our utmost gratitude to those who have/will extended their hand in partaking the Gogetfunding financial assistance for my loving father.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
