I and my youngest daughter picks up strayed kittens to rescue them. We already have around 20 in our small house of just 50 sq.m. I have been doing this for several years now. I am a pastor who is usually assigned to mission works with just minimal support. Nonetheless, I did my best to find ways to feed these poor animals and to always clean up several times in a day because of them. One of our rescued kittens, we found out later has this kind of cat virus. Because after we kept him, while he was having cold and red swelling eyes due to conjunctivitis, days passed by and my other rescued cats caught the same. I tried my best to find natural ways to medicate him and the others bec vet here is so expensive. When I finally had a chance to get free advice from a vet, she taught me to use antibiotic. However, since they are living in small place like ours, everyone got infected. Some of them did not make it due to tender age. When some grew up, every now and then the virus would attack, they would sneeze with cold, had problem breathing and eyes get sored. I could not also bring them to vet to spay or neuter them, again due to expensive price, so some would get pregnant but kittens wouln't mostly make it after few weeks when symptoms of virus appeared. Even if I had to medicate them round d'clock. And some who made it unfortunately got blind in one eye. This one in the picture is the latest that is affected. She's already two months old but so small yet. Her other sibling died even if I medicated with antibiotic the vet freely advised. You could see her left eye is now problematic. She eats, that gives me hope, while I am giving her daily dose of antibiotic. The symptom appeared after a month. Her eyes would subside then would go back again. I really need help to get a vaccine for each of them so that this virus could be arrested. The vaccine is costly for me, it's now more than 1000 pesos. This is costly here already esp given their number. I also want to get them adopted but how if they are still having this virus with them.. So please help this kitten and the rest of them. God bless your kind heart more than willing to help suffering animals. Thank you and may God gives you back all the blessing overflowing!
