Please help our gran

Our gran is a mother of four, grandmother to nine and great-grandmother to four. On 21 December 33 years ago, she lost our grandfather -- her soulmate -- to a stroke. Since then she took life on alone. She is one of the strongest women we know, whose hands raised and guided us all.

The worst feeling in the world is not being able to give back to her for all the years of love and support.

She has lymphoedema and urgently needs strict bedrest for 2 weeks. She needs to be admitted to hospital for this, otherwise without treatment and if the swelling is not reduced soon, she may face amputation of her right leg. As we all know in SA, you can unfortunately not risk this amount of time in any state hospital. She is 86 and no medical aid will help.

Please open your hearts and help us to raise the funds to give her the proper care she deserves and to help us save her leg? Any additional funds not used by us will be donated to a similar cause to pay it forward.
