Hello Friends! Moby came to our street about four months ago asking for food and perhaps a safe place to call home. Shy at first, she blossomed into a sweet, loving cat who is waiting so patiently for dinner in her little street corner every night. About a week ago, we noticed a big change in her appetite and a lump on her forehead. She would eat very little and only drink water when offered. Her nose was bleeding too from time to time. We decided to take her to a clinic on October 18th and from the initial check up, the doctor found that one side of her nasal passage is badly eroded from what could be a fungal infection or cancer, we don't know yet. The lump on her forehead was also full of pus which has been drained and treated.
We are waiting for the results on the fungal test and biopsy which could take about a week. For the meantime, she's under observation and being fed through a tube at the clinic.
We would like to ask your help in raising funds for Moby's treatment. The bill is currently at SG$1,200 but is expected to go up. She has a long way to go and would need to go to foster care once she's released but for now, we would appreciate your donation towards her medical bill.

Moby Update / Back at cat boarding and happy!
Update posted by Marie Aquino at 06:41 amHello everyone - Moby is back at cat boarding and seems happier. She was coughing in the evening and there was a bit of an issue feeding her through the tube but things are ok now. She also moved into a bigger area, and we got her a bed, picked. . . . .

Moby Update / She's put on weight!
Update posted by Marie Aquino at 11:20 am2 November 2019 / Moby went for her follow up check up and she's gained weight - from 3.5 to 3.7 kgs in two weeks! Of course she wasn't happy when we picked her up from cat boarding and traveled to see Dr Nair but she's the sweetest at the. . . . .

The good thing is that she is eating on her own and the doctor doesn't recommend sending her over the rainbow bridge at this point. She. . . . .
