2 weeks ago, my brother adopted a 4-month old Shih Tzu from his friend. His friend has to give away his pets (his other 2 dogs are now in good hands of new families) because he's going to move out from his place and pets are not allowed in his new home. When my brother got the dog, the first thing we noticed are 2 small bumps on his eyes. We immediately rushed him to a nearest vet clinic and the veterinarian said that he has cherry eye. She told us that it can be genetically transferred. Upon further check-up, she also said that other than the cherry eye, our new pet also suffered from respiratory problems. Also, according to my brother’s friend, our new dog doesn’t have any vaccine other than D-worm. The vet prescribed some medicines for his cherry eye and advised us to monitor him for a week if the medicines will work or not. If not, the other solution to remove his cherry eye is through surgical removal and she said it is quite expensive. Unfortunately, the medicines didn’t work but his health became better than the first day he came in our home.
We are asking for your financial support for our new baby. We will immediately go back to the vet clinic for the operation once we reached the needed amount. And also for his other needs like the vaccines and his problem in his respiratory.
P.S. We named him RJ because his former human’s name is JR.
Please help us to raise a fund for his surgery. Any means of help is highly appreciated and we will forever be grateful. Thank you.
