Please Help our baby Kia!

Hi, I'm Joe-ann Tabios-Gonzales from Virac, Catanduanes. Our beloved niece four years old, HEZEKIAH GWENN TABIOS BAUTISTA, lovingly called by her nickname "KIA" who is being raised by a single mother (Raquel Tabios), is in need of a "MIRACLE', PRAYERS and FINANCIAL support. She has been diagnosed with TUBERCULOSIS MENENGITIS (TBM).

About a month ago in February 2019, Kia was rushed to our local hospital Eastern Bicol Medical Center (EBM) due to a very high fever. She was diagnosed having a high risk PNUEMONIA. She was given medication to reduced her fever. Due to our family's financial difficulty, when she was feeling better we discharge her from the hospital and continue her medication at home. We thought she was getting better as she was slowly becoming her old bubbly self but after a week or so her condition worsened and was rushed to the nearest hospital which is the Catanduanes Doctor's Hospital (CDH) in Valencia, Virac. She was immediately rushed to Intensive Care Unit (ICU). She was confined at ICU for several days unconscious and weak. On March 10, 2019 she had a convulsion that left her unresponsive. The Doctors at CDH immediately decided to transfer her to a mainland hospital in Naga City for an immediate brain surgery. She was taken by an ambulance to a ferry boat and once KIA and the medical team arrived at NICC Doctors Hospital in Naga City, she was immediately wheeled to the operating room for an immediate brain surgery to drain fluids from her brain. The fluid was tested and the diagnosis was scary. The Doctors found out that she was suffering from Tuberculosis Meningitis (TBM). The Doctors had advised the mother that she will need another brain surgery on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. To date, five days after the first surgery, our beloved KIA is still unconscious and unresponsive.

Kia's medical bill is rocketing sky high and being from a farmer family we are in a desperate need of your financial help. I am knocking at your heart to please help us help Kia to continue her medical procedures and surgery. We are still in debt at Catanduanes Doctors Hospital. We still don't know how much bills we have accrued at the NICC Doctors Hospital. I am sincerely begging for your financial help and prayers.

Before Kia's medical crisis, she was a happy, bubbly and friendly preschooler at our barangay day care center. Her little friends at the daycare are also anxious, hoping and expecting Kia to recover and be able to join them again at their school.
