Hi World,

I hope you guys are safe and hopefully with your loved ones during these times. It is my utmost wish that we all be secured and healthy despite of what is happening to the world.

I am really hesitant in doing this on my own as I have no idea where to begin, what to say or even what to asks. I am not a good writer so please bare with my story.

I know that we all have our secret battles that we faced each day. Some of us are just strong but I know that deep down, we are about to give up and just say," I'm done.", but we are still fighting for what we know that it is the right thing to do. This is what I am feeling right now. I am about to give up but I am still trying to find a way or light, of finding a way to help my uncle.

The main reason why I am doing this is because of my Uncle Felix who is at the hospital. This is already his second time being admitted as he was already discharge from the hospital the first time. We thought that his condition will be better once he is brought back to his home. My conscience is bothering me knowing that my uncle is there, grasping for air and I can't imagine what he is going through while I am writing his story.

My uncles job is to pick up passengers using his motorcycle from the Airport (NAIA) and basically drop them to their destinations. This is not an easy job as this requires to be patience because their passengers are employees which only go out once or twice during the day. This job description doesn't provide much money on the table. Fair only costs $4, with one or two passengers would only give him $8 total for that day.

He is already suffering with asthma while working. Hearing the news that General Community Quarantine will be mandated due to COVID19 after a few days, he was eager to make sure that he had enough savings. Unfortunately, GCQ was not lifted right away. My uncles savings ran out and at the same time his asthma worsens, after that he also developed pneumonia. My uncle lose weight dramatically for only 3 weeks. Unable to go out to find a job to support his medicine, he kept this to himself.

We were only notified about his condition that he is already suffering from what a basic thing that we can do, breathing. His condition right now is much worse. Pneumonia and heart failure are two of his main symptoms. We were advised by his Doctor that we needed to undergo open heart surgery for them to find out what causes his heart to be big. This is urgent as he is now in critical condition. His complications are, Shortness of breath, (Fatigue and weakness. His feet is already swelling. Persistent cough or wheezing with white or pink blood-tinged phlegm.

Going to government, medical health centers and even health insurance asking for help is one of the things we poor people already did just so we can lessen the bill from the hospital. Even his medicines are asks from them. Believe us, we already went to those steps. I was just recently fired from my job and finding a new one is hard right now because of what we are going through.

I guess what I am really trying to say is that, we need help for my uncle. I already lost one of our closest family members yesterday (August 04, 2020) due to a single vehicle-accident. I don't want to just sit and do nothing for my uncle where I know we can do something for him.

On behalf of Macol Family and closest to us, I am asking for a small donation from you. I know we have our own battles, problems and finances to take care of. I am only asking for any amount that you can spare and this will be hugely appreciated. We will be very thankful if my uncle will be included with your prayers.

I can't put it into words of how I am really feeling right now but I know that God will help us through you. I am humbly begging for any help that you can provide us. A huge thank you for doing this.

Thanks,

Christopher M.
