This is a story of my little warrior Carl Adrian. He is 4 years old and his been fighting his battle since birth called as Congenital Heart Disease. As we all know there are a lot of different classifications of heart diseases. My sons condition is known as Tetralogyof Fallot with Pulmonary Valve Atresia.

Tetralogy of Fallot is is a rare condition caused by a combination of four heart defects that are present at birth. As per Mayo's clinic definition "These defects, which affect the structure of the heart, cause oxygen-poor blood to flow out of the heart and to the rest of the body. Infants and children with tetralogy of Fallot usually have blue-tinged skin because their blood doesn't carry enough oxygen."

Over the years he has been having tet spells. This is common for babies with this kind of disease. They develop deep blue skin, nails and lips after crying or feeding, or when agitated. This spells is caused by a rapid drop in the amount of oxygen in the blood.

Most of the time,Carl is just like any normal boy. He likes to play with his dinosaurand car toys. But he usually dont play like other boys his age do. His just at home peeking at the windows, while watching other boys and girls run around.

Recently,we have him checked again at a Pedia Cardiologist. After the 2d echo test, doctor explained that he needs to undergo 3 stages, first would be the Angiogram,2nd is the BT Shunt, and last would be the open heart surgery.

Please help us raise money to get him the help and the medication he need. Please help us fight his battle and raise awareness of his condition.
