Please Help My Mother Survive

My mother is Merlita Labradores Labonite who got the diagnosis of RECTOSIGMOID MASS LIKELY MALIGNANT after the Colonoscopy procedure was done last March 26, 2019. Philhealth covered the Colonoscopy bills. After that, the doctor ordered her to do the Whole Abdomen CT Scan with Triple Contrast as soon as possible in order for them to decide if it's for surgery or chemotherapy. When we were about to get a schedule for the CT Scan, it needs to be paid first but it costs so much and we don't have that much. And so, my mother and I seek help to the Social Service for assistance and they referred us to PCSO. We were accommodated by the PCSO, but they said that the guarantee letter which serves as the payment for the CT Scan will be released after 2 weeks until April 12, 2019. After 10 working days, the result of the biopsy was released and the doctor said that what was seen is MALIGNANT/CANCEROUS. She needs to do another CT Scan in the Chest to know what stage the Colon Cancer is in. The doctor also referred us to Surgery Department and Tumor Clinic for follow up and immediate action for the treatment. That day, I also checked if the guarantee letter in PCSO is already there but it's not yet there. Told me to follow it up in the next days. And so, we didn't get the schedule for the CT Scan. Since the day she undergone Colonoscopy, she had frequent fever every 3 hours and she had chills everytime. She took paracetamol 500mg just to lower her temperature. Last April 13, 2019, she suffered from extreme abdominal pain and high fever to the extent that she could barely breathe, so we brought her to East Avenue Medical Center ER Trauma. She was given a pain reliever to ease the pain. The doctor said that she must have the surgery as soon as possible in order for her to prevent more complications in the future. But for her to have the surgery done, she must have the CT Scan results first.

All of this started last December 2018 after their company party. My mother was one of their sewer and was invited to the party. There were so much food that time and she had too much. It all started with diarrhea and high fever for almost two weeks. We took her to seven different hospital for the last four months. The diagnosis was just severe diarrhea but due to prolonged medication and lack of funds, she is now in her worse state. Her health deteriorated since then. At the moment, she could only eat soft foods and shake/juiced fruits and vegetables.

My mother is currently residing here in Pasig City for further health treatment. We are just relying on government help for her medications and on relatives for our daily needs. We don't have a monthly income to rely on because my father is not capable of doing any job. Half of his body is already dead because he suffered from stroke last 2013. As for me, I am currently unemployed because my contract has just ended last February 2019. I didn't able to apply for a job right away because I accompanied my mother in going to the hospital and for her check up. I am the eldest of three and I feel so pained and burdened that we are experiencing this nowadays.
